Nothing is complete
Yet thinking needs it just so.
Give your self a break
So much pressure still
To reach, improve and find “it”.
Let the grasping go
Inner voice beckons
Listen to the wisdom there.
~ Val Boyko
Find Your Middle Ground is about finding your center of being and being content with life. Our experience of the external world reflects our inner experience, and vice versa. When we bring awareness inwards, we can begin to shift how we see and interact in the world.
Most of us are so busy, distracted and moving so fast that we get caught up in the world of “doing” and loose touch with this sense of “being” and who we are. Many are also afraid to explore their inner world for fear of monsters and dragons. Yet, this is the gateway to the calm and loving center that is there for every one of us.
In this place, we are able to let go of judgments and how things should be, or comparing ourselves to others. We recognize that our thoughts are not the truth. We trust our intuition and have more clarity about ourselves and what is important. We become more focused, centered and creative.
We allow ourselves to open up to what is in this moment. We connect with our authentic being and life energy. We begin to find contentment no matter what occurs in the highs and lows of life. We are in the flow of life!
When we connect to this flow of life we are ready to follow life’s calling and to transform ourselves and the world around us.

It is interesting that we all seem tied to this ‘need’ to go, go, go Val. But like any opposite we have to feel what isn’t good for us so that we will aim closer to that middle ground, that balance so that we will understand. And guiding well here kind lady, may we feel its love and accept its peace 🤗❤️🙏

So contemplate “Nothing”…

Yes. Let us pause with ‘no thing’ 💐

So in a paradoxical sense, might we say there is a “presence of nothing/no thing”?

Yes. It’s something the mind can’t figure out, and words are difficult to describe … but there exists a sense of presence or awareness.

I am intrigued by this “sense of”…

Beyond the mind is intriguing because it can’t figure it out. Feeling, sensing, intuiting … are useful abilities to begin to enhance. We can’t think ourselves into an other state of being. We have to experience our way.

So do you believe experience is an alternate to logic as a way of making “sense of” reality?

A welcome message to focus a little more on “being” than “doing,” Val. Getting back from a vacation tends to kick me into doing-mode (catching up!). I never tire of these posts – they’re tune-ups for the soul. ❤

Even in the midst of back to back Hurricanes and mandatory evacuations, I had no problem tapping into my calm center of peace & contentment.
