“Perhaps the biggest tragedy of our lives is that freedom is possible, yet we can pass our years trapped in the same old patterns…We may want to love other people without holding back, to feel authentic, to breathe in the beauty around us, to dance and sing. Yet each day we listen to inner voices that keep our life small.”
As long as we listen to – and believe – our thoughts, we will be stuck in the same old patterns.
This is big.
Freedom is there for all of us.
When we see that our thinking is not the truth… When we understand that our ego mind creates critical thoughts to keep us from harm and to keep us small…. We awaken to our real life journey.
Listen to your heart and break free.
This is so good, Val 💕

Working with clients and healing their ancestral past, I now understand, it’s sometimes more difficult for some to feel this freedom just by changing their thoughts. Often it is deeply rooted in their past and carrying these wounds is unconscious. It’s very powerful when we can feel this deep freedom! Love Tara Brach 💕💚💕

So true Karen. It can be the toughest work to go into the past and find new understanding about what has held us back. Thank you for this, and for the reminder that changing our thoughts is not as easy as it may seem ❣️🙏❣️

The inner voices are the echoes of perceived expectations yet the soul whispers truth that affirms who we are and frees us to live without judgement. 🌱 Loved reading your insights!
