I am always amazed how much simply taking the time to breath deeply helps me calm down when I’m nervous or upset! Thanks for the reminder.

Our breath impacts our nervous system, either activating our sympathetic nervous system ( activation) or parasympathetic nervous system ( brakes).

It is our most immediate life force.

The breath does not need our attention to work, we breathe without thought if needed

It is our connection with the external World

It’s amazing–or not–how much people love Haikus. They’re always a favorite with my 4th graders.
