This poem from Danna Faulds is a perfect reminder for what Summer offers.

My wealth is wonder. True abundance is the delight I feel on summer nights as fireflies rise from the grass and Orion strides across the sky. I measure my wealth in birdseed and hummingbird feeders, in the number of purple morning glories the vines on the back deck produce. inner light, divine connection, self expression, love - these are the real riches of my life. ~ "The Real Riches" by Danna Faulds. Taken from What's True Here New Poems and Other Writings
Summer is a time of warmth and reaching out to friends and family. This year, perhaps, more than ever. It’s also a time to slow down and appreciate what we have. As the world keeps spinning and external concerns escalate, take time to pause and find your middle ground. Here are the riches that last a lifetime.
Namaste
And I can’t wait to get that summer warmth again Val, our cold is still with us and the warmth is still but a gleam in our eye 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

… the crispness of the air …. The sun dancing off the frost …. Being cosy indoors listening to the wind … making stews and soups …. Are some of my favorite winter things 🥰❄️⛄️☔️

It’s just the breeze off that bit of snow occasionally that tickles the bones. Your favorite bits are lovely. I used to have a lovely fireplace but alas it has been replaced by an oil heater. The romance of it is a little ‘cold’ so to speak 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
