* Haiku – when your heart is closed

look up to the sky

~

When your heart is closed

in the isolated dark

look up to the sky.

Open your window

Let the great expanse and light

fill your heart with life.

Let love flow freely.

Pause and nourish your Being.

Find your Middle Ground.

  1. Beautiful Val That is what I have been doing this morning.. Looking up to the sky as we took a walk in glorious Spring Sunshine…. It was good to feel its warmth against our skin instead of the biting cold winds..
Have a very special Easter Weekend..

  2. Congratulations on this work Val; and a very Happy Easter to you and yours. By the way, I shall be on my travels over the next 3 weeks and so won’t be visiting here again until towards the end of the month – look forward to seeing you then! H ❀

    • Thank you Hariod. The sky is so expansive and blue today 😎
Although I don’t celebrate Easter, I will be joining my family in Scotland as they come together on Easter Sunday.
Thank you for letting me know you will be away. Safe travels my friend. πŸ’›

    • Thanks Nancy πŸ™‚ I might not see too many kilts … But the air is fresh and salty, the people down to earth, and the landscape feeds my soul. It will be good to be with family πŸ™‚

  3. Mmmm, this is simply perfect. From the first lines I took a great breath and simple smiled… “When your heart is closed in the isolated dark, look up to the sky.” Yes indeed!

  4. Val, I’m catching up on days of missed posts. This one evokes a lovely feeling inside. An exhale to make room for openness. Beautiful. Thank you!
