This post began with a typo.
I typed in “sense of humor” and it came up as “sense of human”
It made me pause …. Having a sense of humor about being human allows us to move through life with a lot more ease and grace.
Having a sense of human is when…
- We acknowledge our inner critter when it gets up to mischief.
- We can laugh at our imperfections … and then give ourselves a hug.
- We notice all aspects of ourselves and can say “How curious!” “How fascinating!” or “How hilarious!”
- We realize that life is actually like a daytime soap opera, and we can change the storyline whenever we want.
- We look in the mirror, see our parent and laugh out loud!
- We find ourselves noticing the pain and struggle in others and bring some lightness their way.
- We realize that we are connected to one another because of shared needs and sense of humanity.
- We appreciate that laughter feeds our souls and is good for our health.
…. Does anything else come to mind?
Humor does lighten the load, that’s for sure. 🙂 💕🙏🏼

the other face of joy is grace. I think as I settle onto my human I recognize the essential nature of walking I this world, on this earth within grace.
love your typo btw. 😃❤️😃

I did a laugh yoga exercise once and it was so funny to see how laughter is contagious. I makes me smile to just think back on it. 🙂 What a great typo, Val. What a human typo!

It is a very beautiful journey in all that you say Val. A time of great understanding to reach that inner love that is us…in all that we do. Great post dear lady, who said typo’s weren’t a wonder 🤣❤️🙏

Absolutely wonderful post Val. Thank you so much!
As a person who is often overly serious, being reminded of the value of humor is SO important. It helps me in my daily attempts to maintain a proper perspective. 💕
