“What a liberation to realize that the “voice in my head” is not who I am. Who am I then? The one who sees that.”
Eckhart Tolle
When we are able to step back and notice our thoughts, beliefs, judgments, its good to know that we are on our spiritual journey.
After all, for so many years we believed that these thoughts were our truth and who we were.
Today is a great day to remind ourselves:
We are not our thinking.
We are so much more than this.
We are the witness on a path of compassion and kindness for ourselves and others.
May you find peace beyond your thoughts today.
Val x

Love that last line by Tolle. The one who sees that. Yes, will take that with me today. Thank you.

Such a beautiful thought, Val.x
But all I can think of right now is one of my favorite funny quotes… “Even if the voices in our head aren’t real, they still come up with some pretty great ideas.” Completely different wavelength there from what you’re meaning I know, but that’s where the ‘voices in my head’ went. 😉
I’ve been a longtime believer in not believing everything I think. Thanks for the lovely reminder…

Great post! Thank you Val (and I love chickadees; in French their name is so nice : “mésanges” its sounds like “mes anges” that mean “my angels”… ♥ You are a “mésange”, you are an Angel!!!

Thank you Frederic. In Britain they are called BlueTits. Not so romantic that’s for sure. They are delightful though…. As are you and your kind words 🙂
