Hi everyone. I am pondering changing my photo from the beloved terrier overlooking the water to the little girl striding down the road with her teddy.
Now that you have spent some time visiting here … please let me know which of these photos you think is the best fit for this blog.
“Life is a series of highs and lows. Be grateful for the highs. Be graceful in the lows. Enjoy life fully and find contentment in your Middle Ground”
Thank you for taking the time to vote! Val x

Val…I voted for the terrier, but it may be the male in me….or the fact that I just finished binge-watching Breaking Bad, where bad things would happen to adorable innocent girls standing in the middle of the road. You may want to throw out my vote!

Good point Mike … I think. There may be a darker side. What’s she doing there? Where are her parents? What’s in the Teddy? Watch out for the truck! …… Your vote counts 😉

I love them both. The dog looks like its waiting for someone to return. The little girl looks like she is determined to follow her own path–especially with that clenched fist. Maybe I would have to vote for the little girl with the teddy, since your blog is about discovering ourselves, and to live life with purpose.

The little girl speaks active determination and forward direction. She’s embarking on an adventure.
The dog isn’t going anywhere.

Yes – I think you’ve captured the key difference. I see the terrier as pausing and reflecting…. before he goes somewhere. The little girl is in motion and embarking on her adventure! Thank you vp!

I like both of them, but did vote for the dog. The dog can both be waiting for someone, but also just look out at the water while it is thinking about its life.

You are wise Irene. Thank you for sharing your perspective. I imagine the dog in a place of pausing and reflecting. Being in the moment.

Val ~ They are BOTH perfect! She’s walking in the MIDDLE of the road . . . but that dog is so ZEN.
