Early Spring at Kripalu

I am at Kripalu on retreat. It’s about 300 miles north of where I live, (and Chanticleer Gardens), and Spring is only just beginning. We had snow last night and I am enjoying the melting today under blue skies.

~

Ground begins to melt
Early signs of Spring arise
Hope opens the heart

~

The trees and shrubs have not budded quite yet. Signs of Spring are close to the ground. Take time to find your ground too and the growth that is ready to come forth.

    1. Thank you so much Sue. 💐 I was her at the same time three years ago and the forsythia and daffodils were out. It has been a chilly winter this year!

  6. The spring flowers reminds me that it’s okay to rest and hide sometimes; there’s time to bloom and there’s time to rest. Beautiful photos, Val

    1. Thanks Hazel. I can’t remember who said .. there is a time and a season…. But as we move from introverted nourishing winter, there is a pull to grow and bloom. May we follow nature’s lead 💖

  9. Spring carries so much hope! Lovely poem Val — and the photos are scrumptious. Spring is a bit further along here — but also a tad later than normal.
