Grow towards the light

When we take time to pause and bring our awareness inwards, we open up to finding peace deep within us. It seems so easy to describe it, yet the journey to this place can take a long time. Finding our Middle Ground is a practice.
Within each of us is a seed that is connected to the Divine, Source, Universe … or whatever you might call it. This seed is within each and every one of us.
We lose touch with this part of ourselves as we grow up and interact with the world around us. The ego becomes our guardian and driver, to survive and help us navigate the world around us.
The seed is ready to expand and grow when the conditions are right. I have found that this often happens after a major life event that has shaken us to the core. The soul is ready to connect with something more than our sorrow, fear and disappointments, and it starts to seek out the light.
Let us grow towards the light together.
