This photo is of Tantallon Castle with Bass Rock behind it. Its close to where I grew up and is a stone’s throw from my Brother and my Mum in East Lothian. I haven’t seen them in person since July 2019.
I’m someone who built the blocks to be strong, but I also need to let go and acknowledge the sweet sadness of not being able to be there. I miss Scotland and the family, and hold them in my heart.
Thought provoking, Val

I was the same too! I looked strong but that was because I had so many walls around me.

It’s so difficult to be separated from our loved ones. My sister hasn’t seen her adult children in a year due to borders being closed. Sending love and hugs from afar Val. May you be reunited with your loved ones soon 💕🌈

Thanks Karen ❤️It’s such an interesting dynamic … not being present in person, but being present to heart feeling an connection.
We are multi dimensional beings after all 💕

I love these lines!! So true, we often build walls to feel strong, and then clutter ourselves within. It took me a while to learn of permeable boundaries.

Thank you PD for your insight, words and understanding. Permeable is not negative after all 💕

That fortress needs to crumble to find that peace. And oh so challenging at times, isn’t it?

Thank you Colleen. Have you noticed the blocks that are ready to be set aside?

Actually, I have. My own blocks so carefully set (some will always remain and I do need them) and others that just clutter the view and the access now.

❤ Not seeing loved ones is the hardest part of this pandemic. Video conferencing is a nice option, but not really the same as being with them.

Lovely…makes me think if we build it too strongly we sometimes miss letting wonderful people in too 🤔
Sending wishes that you are reunited with your family soon 🤞❤️

A beautiful photo, Val. Part of strength is being able to let go. Or be patient and wait for the right time. Peace to you, my friend.
