* Inspiration – Present

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.” ~ Buddha

live in the present

Find your middle ground in the present

The answer doesn’t lie in the future or going over the past

  7. Hi Val, I’m with you a good bit of the way but I feel we have to see life as a process and an over-focus on the present can prevent us from learning from experience and not taking heed of the future can lead to a shortsightedness which can create all sorts of complications in future ‘presents.’ Having said all that, it is definitely very fulfilling to live in the present moment and be keenly aware of what’s unfolding at all levels and between levels.

    1. I agree Jean, bringing awareness to past events and planning ahead is important for living life well. My perspective is that when we get caught up with thoughts and regrets about what is past of or spend time only dreaming about the future that we move away from appreciating the moment that we are living in right now. Its a balance that comes with awareness and appreciation for what we have here and now. 💛
