I love this poem on balance and our inner wings from C. Joybell C.  Enjoy today’s inspiration on acceptance and finding your Middle Ground in a new generation of consciousness. Val x

Voice On the Porch

Two wings can only stay in the air if there is a balance.

“For everything in this journey of life we are on, there is a right wing and a left wing.
For the wing of love there is anger.   For the wing of destiny there is fear.
For the wing of pain there is healing.  For the wing of hurt there is forgiveness.
For the wing of pride there is humility. For the wing of giving there is taking.
For the wing of tears there is joy.  For the wing of rejection there is acceptance.
For the wing of judgment there is grace.  For the wing of honor there is shame.
For the wing of letting go there is the wing of keeping.

We can only fly with two wings and two wings can only stay in the air if there is a balance.
Two beautiful wings is perfection.

  1. I love this Val. In the West we have been so exposed to dualistic thought that we always tend to think in either/or terms – it can only be this, and not that. Non dualistic thought as expressed here is where our hope lies. Thank you.

  2. Don, Thank you for your affirming comment. I agree with you that hope lies here and our ability to be at peace within ourselves.

  3. Val, what an inspirational, gorgeous blog you have!! I came here to say thank you for being a part of Petals Unfolding. Bless you!! (((HUGS))) Amy

  4. Yes! And it is easier to find right balance in life when we look within for guidance.

  5. Oh dear — I had commented but I must have forgotten to hit send! I do love this — it is so true – the light shines brightest in the dark.

And btw — I visited the Mother Whisperers site — wow — I’m sorry to hear it’s no longer active. I could get lost in it! 🙂

    • Thank you Louise for your kind words. Feel free to explore the Mother Whisperers. There’s a lot there. Its still live, and gets visitors – I’m just not posting there any more. Hugs Val x
