calm in the spinning storm

When the world feels less secure

And it’s hard to find our Middle Ground

Or connect to our heart.

It’s time to shift.

This shake up is part of the emerging and unfolding

It is an invitation.

When we realize that what we are hearing and seeing

Is so different to what we perceive and believe in

It’s time to pause

And open up to what really matters.

Some of us will turn to diversion

If the time isn’t right.

We may call it “self improvement”

Or self actualization.

And the clue is in the description.

Bettering our “self” is an illusion

Based on the limiting belief

That there is something wrong with us.

It’s time to question.

What exactly am I wanting to grow into?

Do I really want to recreate a different version of yourself,

Or find the meaning of who I already am

And break free

Of the ties that have always bound me?

It’s time for courage.

To look inside and reflect on

What has brought you here.

The roots that are in place

The lessons from the past

The hopes for the future

And the first steps to open

The doorway to your soul.

You are already whole,

Worthy, and loved.

It’s time to shed the layers

Of conditioning and connect

To your Self and others on the path.

Namaste

A wonderful reframing, Val. And much needed as we continue to be knocked off center. Hugs.
