The Secret Saving Grace

Just breathe
The secret isn't hidden,
esoteric, or opaque.
Right here, in all my
incompletion; right now,
with self doubts nipping
at my shins like crazed
chihuahuas, I can draw
a breath and let love in.

The simple act of breathing
changes everything.
I shift from closed
to open the moment
I let breath connect
me with my quiet depths.

The fact that love is
freely available,
just waiting to flow in,
is the secret saving grace
that takes me from
dullness to vibrancy,
from resistance to
willingness and ease.

Breathe well

What a lovely reminder that we can shift our own mood and energy when we become aware of our deeper breath. Conscious breathing becomes the portal to ease and release from resistance and anxiety. It is a simple practice with much to gain.

A secret saving grace to helps us navigate the highs and lows of life.

  3. From my perspective, control of breathing might lead us to the awareness of the awesome gift of breathing that is beyond our control (e.g. I continue breathing even when unconscious or asleep).

    1. Control and awareness of breathing creates changes within our body and mental state. It can be life changing as well as mood changing in any moment. 🙏🏻

A great visual here. In all of my experiences with them, chihuahuas are very mean!
