Inspiration – The Point of Power

The Point of Power is always in the present moment. You are never stuck.

This is where changes take place, right here and right now in our own minds. It doesn’t matter how long we’ve had a negative pattern or an illness or a poor relationship or a lack of finances or self hatred. We can begin to make the shift today…

Your thoughts and beliefs have created this moment, and all the moments up to this moment. What you are now choosing to believe and think and say will create the next moment and the next day and the next month and the next year…

Each moment begins the new process. Each moment is a new beginning, and this moment is a new beginning for you right here and right now!”

~ Louise L. Hay taken from “You Can Heal Your Life”

Such inspiring words from Louise L. Hay! To become aware of our thinking at any given moment can ignite a powerful shift in our self knowledge and awareness.

Bring awareness to what you are thinking right now … and ask “Is this true”?…

When we see that we are not our thoughts, and that we are separate from them, we begin our journey towards self realization and a new sense of freedom in our lives.

My thoughts are not the truth! They are simply thoughts that have arisen from my past experiences and beliefs. This is what is meant when we develop witness consciousness. We become an observer of our inner world and how we relate to ourselves and the world around us.

The Point of Power is recognizing that we are aware and can bring about the changes we want in life at any given moment.

This is our inner freedom.

  6. So very true, Val. A reminder never hurts because we can get lost along the way. I have 2 hard copies of Louise Hay’s books and one on Kindle so I can have it anywhere. She’s been an inspiration for years. Thank you for sharing this.

  9. Such a nice post, Val and a great reminder to stay connected with our inner selves. It’s easy to get lost in this fast paced world we live in always grabbing our attention. Thanks, for the Louise Hay quote. I have always liked her. Her words are timeless. I loved reading your own words about witness consciousness. ❤

  10. Well, this is based on a scientific theory called ‘Historical Relativism’ that you can understand that we we can only perceive from the here and now. That the point of perception is always now is an idea that is shared in scientific history since Rancke.

  11. An excellent post Val… I have bought that book three times by Louise Hay, giving two copies away to those who needed to hear her words.. And then I had to go buy it again to re read them again myself 🙂

Indeed what is truth?.. But information… And what is my truth/belief today can change tomorrow when more information comes into my orbit that then changes that belief..
    Its a constant flow…

What matters most is what we believe about ourselves… and how as Louise says.. Each moment is a new beginning that enables us to evolve…

    Love and Hugs your way Val… ❤ ❤ ❤

  12. Great post, Val. It reminded me of something I read this morning:
“Life changes in an instant. The ordinary instant.” Joan Didion. Both this quote and your post remind me to be aware of that ordinary instant. Thank you.
