Blossoms unfolding
In late summer cooling light
Warms the yearning heart
~

This time of year is always so special to me. After the exuberance and bravado of summer, there is a gentle letting go into a place of slow ripening and appreciation. The sun drops and shadows elongate.

The pace slows as the appreciation keeps unfolding. The body feels more comfortable and wants to attune to nature and it’s nourishing presence.

Such a precious time.

I agree Val. A time for slowing down as nature also slows. 😃

Beautiful series of photos, Val. I agree with you about this time of the year ~ summer is such an incredible, high-speed ride, and there is something wonderful when things slow down at the end, and we can appreciate all it has given us. Your photos are a great reminder of this 🙂 Take care ~
