Have you felt it too?

When every part of life
vibrates within you
and around you
You feel connected
to everything

What becomes known
is beyond words
And reaches deep
into body and soul

Embodied Presence
Timeless being
Coming home
to your true Self

Then you take a full breath
See to the dishes
and get on with your day

  1. One of the strangest things I’ve ever felt. Let this life go as you stand in the ‘unconditional’ within…and touch it all…from the spiritual. Amazing place…as are your words dear lady ❤️🙏🏽

  3. I’ve had a few rare moments like these, Val, so I can identify with what you say. They are profound moments, but, as I said, for me, extremely rare. They are sheer gift when they happen.

  4. Wonderful poem, Val. I love the blend of sacredness and the mundane. That’s life, isn’t it? Not one or the other, but both in perfect alignment.

  5. I don’t recall ever having such a sensation, but I am trying to become more mindful when I am doing tasks such as washing the dishes…

    • That is good exercise in mindfulness. This is the first step which trains the brain to begin to focus on the present moment instead of wandering into thoughts. Brushing teeth and washing hands is also a good mindfulness practice. My favorite is eating a Handels ice cream savoring each bite. Now that takes willpower 😎

  6. Yes, Val, moments like these when the fullness of Presence makes us feel so full as Life itself. Anything is possible then—even writing a poem. 🙂

  9. I have felt it too, Val. There’s a presence deep inside that covers you like a warm blanket. Happens in the quiet especially when you are with nature. I think it’s our Spirits speaking softly to us.
