I am writing this post today in response to a Call from Spirit and the large numbers of articles and announcements calling for my attention. They are around:

“Practices to build resilience in times of crisis” … “Becoming centered in challenging times” …”Things to do when life feels hard”…”Facing the Cascade of Crises”…

We live in stressful and troubling times. World events, politics, climate change, COVID19 and the war in Ukraine are having a huge impact on our psyche and well being.

Yet, the assumption is that the times are extraordinary, and that we must do something so we can get through the challenge. It’s implied that when we fix the problem, we will return to more peaceful and better times. Honestly, I can’t see that happening any time in the near future.

What if the times we live in are simply the times we live in? The constant barrage of news, violence and manipulation will continue as long as we have the technology literally in our hands. The reality is that the world is in upheaval and living has become more stressful than we could have imagined twenty years ago.

It’s time to find a different way of living for the times we live in. I am committed to reaffirm my own practices and bring them to others, so we can feel peace and connection to Presence.

As part of Nurturing Sundays, I will be adding online Middle Ground Gatherings. These will take place on my private link once a month a little after the yoga practice. (Time for a bio break and re-charge of devices for Yoga practitioners).

It is open to everyone who wants to live from the center of their being and be soulfully present.

Middle Ground Gatherings will take place at 9.30am Pacific Time – 12.30pm Eastern US time – 17.30pm British time. The meeting will last around 90 minutes.

This will be a space for people to find connection, listening, strength and transformation.

Together, we will experience practices and tools that calm mind, body and spirit, and elevate our energies and our capacity for renewal. We will be there for each each other on our journey of awakening and in the highs and lows of life.

Please mark your calendar for the first gathering on Sunday April 24th!

  3. I like this thought,we are constantly and endlessly told to be dissatisfied with our life, and then bombarded with fear from the media. Instead of just been present, at peace with ourselves and those around us.
