Whatever comes, do not push away; whatever goes, do not grieve. Everything appears just like clouds floating by; they just come and go. Stay only as the unmoving awareness. Awareness and Truth are one.*
~Mooji
Clouds are a wonderful metaphor for the comings and going of nature and life itself.
Next time you look up, remind yourself that you are the witness to what comes and goes. Don’t get attached to your thinking about things that have happened in the past, or might happen in the future. Stay in the unmoving awareness.
Truth is in our awareness, not our thinking.

Watching the sky and watching a river gives me the same feeling. You’re seeing something you won’t see again. You can’t keep it, you can only enjoy it.

Thanks, Val! As a self-professed cloud watcher, this a great metaphor for life…and one I so desperately need to practice right now.
I’m going through a tough phase, and I just need to sit with it…stop dissecting and asking ‘why…and then watch as it floats in by!
Much love and grace to you, Val…thank you!!

I like this! There is much that I would be better off thinking of as clouds. I’m not attached to clouds, I accept their coming and going without worry or grief. Thanks for another great post!

Thanks Eliza. It’s so easy to get caught up in external stuff and let it upset us

But when we come back to center we realize that’s everything passes and it isn’t so important after all. 💕

Beautiful and inspiring. Just as the clouds glide we too must “go with the flow” and never resist what ever comes our way.
Cheers 🌹

Beautiful analogy.. I love nothing better than watching clouds come and go… learning this lesson is one we must all of us learn.. Clearing out the clutter from within as we allow it to pass right through us .. Those clouds giving way to the blue skies and Sunshine.. As we allow the shadows of the past to float out and allow the Light within to illuminate..
Sending much love your way Val.. Love and Light my friend ❤ ❤

It’s my first time here and I’d like to say I appreciate this post so much. ❤ A lot of times in my life, I hold on to things of the past that I no longer have control of. You reminded me of how free I can be if I just let go. 🙂
