If we Believe in the Unity of us All

If we believe in the unity of us all
Then we must let go of judging an other.
Judgment keeps us separate
And grows thorns around our hearts.
As long as we judge, we will suffer.
We are no longer living in connection
With ourselves or others.
Pause and listen to what wants to be known
Let go of spiraling thoughts.
Feel what needs to be felt.
We must touch the love within
And open our hearts to all.
This is the path to contentment.

You are so right, but it is so hard to stop judging others and ourselves in our self-talk.

Good theory . . . but it’s difficult to refrain from judgment “in real life” when Donald’s latest deed, tweet, or boast surfaces.

I’ll keep trying to remain “detached” and “connected.” 😀

Me too Nancy❣️ Yet there are always people who are attached to their ego and live a life of personal aggrandizement, power, self promotion and greed. What we can do, is to do our best to ensure that they never have a position of power again. We are not so naive now. Keep spreading compassion and understanding… and supporting those who don’t have a voice. 💕

So true and sometimes hard to do in these times. I do feel the judgment and sorrow draining me and have to retreat into a more open and accepting place in order to replenish. Thanks for sharing your wonderful wisdom, Val.

Retreating from the barrage of media in all its forms is what I now do. It’s so important to be sure we nurture our heart and souls, so we can stand for what is right and lift others up.
If we are united then we must bring balance into the world. 💕

Wise words, Val. I must trust that whatever is appearing and happening, a higher wisdom and good is unfolding. ❤

Yes, it all starts at home, in ourselves. I find it difficult to be around judgmental people and don’t quite ‘get it’ why they feel that they are in a position to judge others. Great post, Val ❤
