I was inspired to write this after reading David Kanigan’s Sunday morning post over at Live and Learn.
Start the day in perfect peace and harmony.
Take this precious moment of warmth and stillness.
It is a gift to start the day well.
You will find peace deep within you.
You will not find it outwardly or rushing around looking for it.
Peace is in the stillness for us all to find.
So accept this precious gift.
Let go of thoughts that distract you from here.
There will be time enough for them.
Namaste
Thank you Val. It is a gift. Beautiful post.

This sounds like my morning. I got the paper at 6:00 a.m., then decided to go back to bed to read. I drifted off to sleep, then got up and ran five miles, when I was mentally ready.

Doing my morning right sets the tone for the rest of the day Val. Unfortunately doing it wrong has the same affect. โค

I love it! I’m working on moving my meditation up earlier in my day so that I have more time and peace in the mornings – this was a great reminder and such wise words, than you!
