Wisdom said
"It is safe now 
to turn the key"

But which way to freedom?

She stood awhile
trying not to let
anxious thoughts and
trembling fingers
make the mistake 
of her life.

She had always been so coolheaded!

Wisdom said
"Left is always
right to open
the padlock 
of the heart"

      Hhmmm yes .. the keys that reappear are portals. What we have set aside has a way of coming back to engage our heart and mind.
      The keys are in deed key, especially later in life.
