The corpse flower experiment at Chanticleer is coming to an end. The lilies died back after a couple of weeks.

Many thanks to Lydia for capture the ending of the blossom, while I am in Scotland. The fragrance was like mouldy cabbage. I’ve had smellier cheese over here LOL.

    They are an amazing plant dear lady. Each time I see one I think of ‘The Day Of The Triffids’ or something from out of the time of the dinosaurs. Thank you for showing its ‘splendor’, it too is something unique and original in this beautiful world. A heart to love, even if it smells in a way we don’t fully appreciate 😀❤️🙏🏽
