You are always on exactly the right place to be able to take the next step.

Isn’t it reassuring to know that where you are is just right. What a relief! For years I thought I was getting it wrong because spirituality seemed so confusing. I just didn’t get “it”. This is the book that changed everything for me.

“The journey Outside is the journey of enlightenment… Most traditions wont tell you where you are going. They say you will be told what you need to know, when you need to know it.

“There is no point in revealing the hidden truths of the tradition before you are ready to hear them.” or “The initiation will come when it is ready, and until then it is best to have the faith and humility to be prepared not to know.”

The problem is that most gatekeepers of this truth make it complicated because they themselves have never experienced it, and so all they can do is to make a virtue out of traveling the road, rather than arriving.

Life becomes a process of readying for something that never actually appears.”

~ Nicholas Vesey from “Developing Consciousness. A Roadmap of the Journey to Enlightenment.

These words, caught my attention many years ago, when I started on my yoga path. The mysterious Truth was hidden and beyond my reach. And I realized that it was beyond the reach of others too. What a revelation! And also an inspiration!

This book by Nicholas Vesey questions the accepted traditions and puts forward a practical roadmap that shines a light along the way. You are in the driver seat. You must embrace your personal experience and be open and curious. His experience is no shortcut, but it is honest and enlightening.

I just saw he wrote an other book in 2019 called “Living the Life Force” How exciting. Its on order.

I think it’s also true to say that at the right time, the right teacher also comes along.

It is so marvelous that this can be discovered in our lifetime. I am noticing lately how every single person opens to this truth in so many different ways. It’s not a one-size-fits-all in the journey.

We each have our own experience. It’s so lovely when the door within us opens up to ourselves, others, and the world. Thank you Kathy 💕🙏💕

I very much agree with this. When I sit quietly, I know I’m right where I need to be at this moment. Even if I didn’t plan it or like the idea of it in the beginning. It’s a very interesting feeling. Great post. I’ll look for the book.
