Haiku – For Auld Lang Syne

winter in Scotland

~

Back to the Old Sod.

A Hogmanay homecoming.

Chill winds and dark days.

~

All for Auld Lang Syne.

Memories still warm the heart

Despite the weather.

As you read this, I am flying over to Scotland to see in the New Year with family. I have my layers and woollies with me! I’m ready.

Happy New Year everyone🥂

  18. LOVE the sheep photo. Takes me back to fall in Scotland so many years ago! It’s visceral. Glad you got back, I need to one day … And hope you’re feeling well and optimistic in this New Year, Val! Love ❤
