    My younger brother bought lunch for a homeless man recently. He (my brother, that is) doesn’t always come across as kind or generous, but I remember even when he was little that he was troubled by homelessness. So when my mother shared this with me the other day, it moved me.. and it made me wonder if I would be willing to show the same compassion if I were in his shoes.
