Inspiration – Mind Merges with Heart

shining light within

As mind merges inside the heart, true understanding awakens.

You are the invisible inside the visible, the unmoving inside all movements.

Like space moving in space glowing inside a thin skin called a human being.*

~ Mooji

I had to smile as I read these words from Mooji …. I’m feeling a bit thin skinned today

When I’m feeling thin skinned, and easily irritated, I feel separate with my thoughts. Its time to open my heart and connect to the understanding that lies there.

This is a lovely reminder to being awareness to where our minds are. Are you attuned to your heart?

Please join me in taking a Middle Ground Pause, and breathe into the loving space glowing inside.

Namaste

    1. Thank you David. It becomes a practice to recognize this state and shift focus to the heart. This is where our real home is. ❤

  2. Like Mooji says, you are awareness, and awareness doesn’t care how you feel. You get this. H ❤

    1. I like your directness Hariod 💛Sometimes we need a reminder not to be so attached to the bag of skin and thinking mind. I do admire how Mooji takes us into our hearts to bring us there.

    1. Bringing heart into driving is a tough shift to make in the moment Diana. This is where a mantra like “let it go” or “let them go” or simply “breathe!” can allow the moment to pass… and the heart to be open. Thank you for stopping by 💛

  5. Awareness is a never ending process with me. A little carelessness takes the mind to takes you to the territories you don’t want to go. Nice reminder. Namaste. Have a nice day dear.

  6. Yes, that’s how I woke up a couple of hours ago. Aware of too many aches from overdoing things yesterday, feeling my age, knowing a day will come when many tasks here will become too difficult for me, and generally feeling irritable and unhappy about the future. Not a familiar place for me! ☹️

    1. When we don’t accept reality, it kicks up a lot of irritation and resistance. It’s a great lesson for tuning in to what is more important – the love in our hearts, rather than the deterioration of the physical body 💕

  7. We carry around so many memories, intentions, and concepts in the pockets of the mind. Keep emptying your pockets. ~ Mooji

  10. I have found that whenever I’m feeling especially thin-skinned and fragile, then it’s time for me to stop and figure out what is at the root of it. And once I recognize that and come to grips with it, then I usually feel a lot less fragile. Recognizing my emotions is not my strong point, but I’m working on it!

    1. Tuning in to our emotions can be difficult Ann. I know that I became quite numb over the years until, I came to realize that I was actually a very sensitive person… and not recognizing my feelings was a way of coping. I’m not saying that of you….
Self inquiry is so important, as is allowing ourselves to feel. Feeling can be so freeing 💛
