Roots of Hope

Thankfully
the roots of hope run deep.
And when we get discouraged
we can feel the tug of those roots
and we remember
oh yes, that’s right…
we have come through
harder things than this before.
And during the process, learned
what we could not have learned otherwise. And thankfully
we believe in trying again
no matter how far the distance seems
between what we want
and what we have.
We can remember
what blooming feels like.
So we practice,
the feeling of blooming…
and possibility opens us
to the miracles once more.

    “And during the process, learned
what we could not have learned otherwise.”
That is a key point for me when I try to make peace with difficult situations.

    1. Thank you Karin! Acceptance of difficulties is the hardest for me too… When we know we are learning we can be more present to their gifts. 💛

      1. Won’t allow me to post a photo in this comment box, but a photo is in my FB album “Stuff I’ve Made” or can probably be found on my blog if you search “Tree Madam”.
