    This day IMO should be struck off the calendar for in living with a Vet this holiday only triggers memories that are better off left in the past. Every day should be a remembrance and gratitude day for our Veterans. Not a holiday! When I hear “Happy Veteran’s Day” I cringe inside for there is nothing happy about war.

      I agree Amy 🙏🏻 The day was originally meant to celebrate Armistice and the end of war. It changed to be one of honoring all the veterans who fought for their country. It’s a day of honor and remembrance.

        Hmmmm ….. makes you think doesn’t it? I tend to be hot around the collar regarding this subject ….. I’ve seen how much my husband has suffered. Now it would be wonderful if we could celebrate Armistice on that day, wouldn’t it?
