You can’t help but shine your light
For others delight

I walk past this prickly pear every time I visit Chanticleer. It usually appears slightly bedraggled, as if it has gone through the ringer and needed to be cleaned up and ironed out. It clings low on the side of the path in a humble self deprecating way…. Until this week!
This is its time. When I saw it, I couldn’t help but smile. All of us are ready to shine when the time is right.
Shine your light and make a passerby’s day.
