“The invitation is simple: Let go of indulging in the mind, realize it doesn’t have the answers for you, and it doesn’t have the answers for us collectively. Together we can begin to stop the insanity within ourselves and amongst each other. Realizing our deep, essential nature and finding the happiness and peace that lie there is not just something for ourselves; it’s a gift to all of humanity. Because when we begin to become expressions of what’s possible for anybody and everybody, we are contributing to the goodness at the very core of of who each and everyone is. When we can relate to ourselves from stillness, from the place before the mind, then we can begin to relate to each other from the same place…. When we relate from our true spiritual essence, then the quality of our relating is transformed.”

It’s a simple invitation to let go of our thinking mind. To do so, we must first of a recognize that it is there. Noticing our thoughts and how often they come and go is the first step in waking up from our conditioned sleep. When we first listen to ourselves, we realize how busy and unsettling our thinking mind is. It is driven by the need of the ego to survive and it takes practice to take control and let it quieten.
As we become witness to our inner world, we realize we are not our thoughts after all. They simply come and go.
When we begin to relate from our spiritual essence, there is a letting go. A letting go of the “I” and “me”. “What will others think?” “How will I match up to their expectations?”. “What if I don’t fit in?” “How can they like me more?” “What if I am not good enough?”….
We let go of our expressions of ourselves as separate beings who need others to validate our being in the world. We find contentment in just the way we are. We simply show up. We see the same inner peace and spiritual essence in all those we encounter.
We live from “Namaste”. The light in me recognizes the light in you.

I’d love to hear from you …
