Inspiration – Death

light after death

“Death is not extinguishing the light; it is putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.”

~ Rabindranath Tagore

I find these words comforting, and I wanted to share them today for those of you who may be touched by death.

These words embrace the understanding that there is a light within all of us that continues after the physical body dies.

After all, there is no getting around death for each and every one of us.

We all face the inevitable outcome.

Instead of avoiding this reality, let us begin to explore our inner light, and keep an open mind towards whatever might happen next.

When the light goes out, the dawn will come.

Namaste
(The light within me recognizes the light within you)

  1. Thanks for this post, Val 🙂
I was very close to go to our next place with my soul, but something kept me here. I like to think, this was caused by all the kind souls, who sent and send healing my way.

  12. Death has never been fearful for me Val, Having that ‘knowing’ of eternal life after life, as the natural progression. Having had the privilege of being present at several family members passing over to the other side.. It showed me just how that light shone the moment the soul left their body..
I have sat today with another family member who is my husbands brother-in-law.. His time is near, and I am thankful that his wife, is seeing this as his next stage upon his wonderful journey to explore the next realm, of his long 85 yrs upon this earth plane..
I wish others could see as we see Val.. And not fear what awaits us all..
