“I’ve come to trust not that events
will always unfold exactly as I want,
but that I will be fine either way.

The challenges we are facing in life are always
lessons that serve our soul’s growth.”

  8. It’s life’s dualistic character and it’s true. One way is to acknowlege and accept this reality and move towards what matters. Thanks for sharing this wonderful quote.

  10. I wish I could always trust I’ll be fine either way…but I find that at times I’ve difficult to let go of the imaginary control… And it always complicates matters 🙂

    1. Yes – those thoughts to gain control once more are very persistent. It takes a lot to unlearn years of caution and habitual responses.

  13. Some challenges are so hard its not easy to learn from them, especially the loss of someone close. But we all learn this at some stage and we must choose life and the living rather than fade into the shadows in grief. So I guess I have learned to live large for those that can’t anymore Val.
