tangled thoughts

Some days we tie ourselves up into knots of analysis and thinking.
Going around and around and making a fine mess, rather getting clarity or direction.
This mantra is a helpful reminder for me when I get into a tangle.

“Spirit is simple”

spiriti is simple

Keep coming back to the simple and let go of the complicated.

Keep coming back to being present and find your middle ground.

Namaste

    7. Let go of the ego, fear-based orientation that has made you miserable.

    8. Choose happiness ~ right here, right now.

    9. Chances are that nothing is getting in the way of your happiness . . . except your own ego-oriented thoughts.

Thank you for this message. It was exactly what I needed today. Yes, return to the simple. You make the world a better place just by being you.

Hi Val! Iโ€™ve followed your blog for years and appreciate your work and words. This blog โ€œspirit is simpleโ€ really struck me. Thank you for it! I teach a weekly self-discovery group for whom this is just perfect. So know that you we will teaching along side me this coming week. ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, yesterday, I did the RAIN partners workshop with Tara and saw you were there as well. It was a nice connection to see you, even though you donโ€™t know me. ๐Ÿ™‚ Based on reading your blog, I find we have many teachers and influencers in common. Those kind of synchronicities delight me. Thanks again for your energy in this world. Namastรฉ Augusta

    1. Hi Augusta! Thanks for reaching out. I love connecting with others on the path ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’› I enjoyed Taraโ€™s workshop yesterday. I hope she does a more formal training. Her hubby Jonathan Foust is doing a day long RAIN intensive next Saturday via imcw.org but I am teaching a workshop then. There will be a RAIN registry. How cool is that ๐Ÿ’
