In the highs and lows of life let yourself be.

breaking free

Let yourself be

Be what?

The being that you are

This being is found in this moment

It isn’t who you think you are. Your thinking is based on memories

Holding on to this picture of yourself is a prison

Let go of its hold over you

You are beyond anything you can think

So stop thinking

Let yourself be

Pause for a moment and take a full breath

Inhale this new moment to embrace

Exhale and let yourself be

  2. Thank you, Val. At times it is not easy to know who we are amongst all the clamor that is all around us at times. It takes great strength and courage to stay ourselves so we are not swayed to someone else’s definition of who we “should” be. Great post!!! Love, Amy

  9. Val, I had never really thought of this in the way you write it “Your thinking is based on memories.” This is so true and obvious, yet I had never looked at it in this way. What a blessing you have given!
