Inspiration – One Step

โ€œYour inner journey only has one step: the step you are taking right now.

As you become more deeply aware of this one step, you realize that it already contains within itself all the other steps as well as the destination.

This one step then becomes transformed into an expression of perfection, an act of great beauty and quality. It will have taken you into Being, and the light of Being will shine through it. This is both the purpose and the fulfillment of your inner journey, the journey into yourself.โ€

– Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now

I needed this reminder today.

May we all step into the beauty that is in each moment of awareness.

  8. Love it. I actually felt centered today while walking my kids to the park. It was how I felt when I used to practice mindful meditation. So relaxing. I think they felt it too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Everything becomes so clear in those rare moments. Thanks again. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. That’s a great book! Forgive me for being predictable ๐Ÿ˜‰ but the masters of showing us how to live in the present moment are our dogs. As I write this, Cleo is sleeping by my feet. Correction: She is dreaming! Thanks Val for reminding us of the importance of the present moment.

  15. Hey Val, one question. Why do you write Namaste as the closing salutation?

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Namaste is a greeting that comes from the Hindu and yoga tradition. It is usually translated as the light within me, recognizes the same within you. It’s an acknowledgement that we all hold a divine spark within us and we can connect on this level. ๐Ÿ™ namaste

My name is Val Boyko, a dual citizen living near Philadelphia, originally from Scotland.

This blog came to life one morning in 2013.  I woke up with these words in my mind:  “Life is a series of highs and lows. Be grateful for the highs. Be graceful in the lows. And find contentment in your Middle Ground.”

Find Your Middle Ground blog started to explore, reflect, ask deep questions, share insights about awakening, and connect with wonderful people like yourself. Thank you for being here and being such an inspiration.
