Haiku – spiritual declutter

~
Wisdom piling high
Inspirational clutter
Time to share and clear
~

This is a photograph of the “inspirational” side of my desk. The other side is for paying bills and running day to day things.

As I sat down at my desk today I realized that I haven’t gone through my own notes for some time, and as you can see, the inspirational books are piling high.

Instead of seeing this as a spiritual candy store to browse through to find treasures, it came to me that it is more like hoarding. Its time to share and clear this space.

I am committing to choose one inspiration from each book, review my own notes and to share here on Find Your Middle Ground.

I’m excited to uncover old and new words of wisdom and to publish posts from a wide range of sages!

  14. Piling of books on desk means knowledge . Full of knowledge . I went through your blog . Full of inherent knowledge . Man does/thinks different things in different times . Not going through a book on table is not a big fault . To my mind , not having a book on the table is a Fallacy of especial type . If books are there on the table , one day or other, you may go through them . Not going through your own note is not again a thing to be highlighted so much as it is you who have prepared this note at one time . So , overall your blog is inspiring and thought provoking as such .Thanks !

About Me

My name is Val Boyko, a dual citizen living near Philadelphia, originally from Scotland.

This blog came to life one morning in 2013.  I woke up with these words in my mind:  “Life is a series of highs and lows. Be grateful for the highs. Be graceful in the lows. And find contentment in your Middle Ground.”

Find Your Middle Ground blog started to explore, reflect, ask deep questions, share insights about awakening, and connect with wonderful people like yourself. Thank you for being here and being such an inspiration.
