* Which Way is Your Horse Heading?

lead a horse to water

This is such a good question to ask when we are at a crossroads in life! Enjoy the re-post.

I love this question! Especially when faced with making a difficult decision. It can help in your career direction and life direction. It can help when you find yourself procrastinating over the best choice to make.

Its also helpful when you have committed to doing something โ€ฆ and then it doesnโ€™t feel quite right.

In my experience, when we feel an internal struggle, there are one of two things going on. ย Either its fear coming up โ€ฆ or its our inner wisdom trying to get our attention.

The first step is to consider what I might be afraid ofโ€ฆ. What are the facts of the situation? Are their any old beliefs coming up that I might not be good enough, or that I might fail? As I think about this, is there a feeling of contraction or withdrawalโ€ฆ or not? Could there be an unpleasant experience from my past associatedโ€ฆ

โ— About Me

My name is Val Boyko, a dual citizen living near Philadelphia, originally from Scotland.

This blog came to life one morning in 2013.  I woke up with these words in my mind:  “Life is a series of highs and lows. Be grateful for the highs. Be graceful in the lows. And find contentment in your Middle Ground.”

Find Your Middle Ground blog started to explore, reflect, ask deep questions, share insights about awakening, and connect with wonderful people like yourself. Thank you for being here and being such an inspiration.
