Confidence is Very Attractive

Today’s mantra is for when you want to make a positive impact. If you are heading back to work after a break, or starting something new, this one is especially for you.

confidence is very attractive

Confidence is very attractive

This photograph reminds me of the times when we move from trying to become something, to embracing it fully. When we move from doubting or being insecure and then begin to own our abilities.

To me this puppy has progressed from learning to walk on his leash to knowing how to do it. He is owning it… and boy does he look good … and happy!

What a great lesson for all of us.

He is radiating joy in what he is doing and feeling good about himself.

He isn’t needing validation saying “Look at me.”

He isn’t doubting himself saying  “I’m not sure if I am any good.”

He’s saying “I am me.”

This kind of “knowing” self confidence is so attractive – to others and to ourselves.

Knowing who you are – your strengths, needs and core values – are the foundations for building confidence, and becoming attractive to yourself and others.

Accept this Moment

be at peace

Accept the present moment and allow it to be.

Make peace with yourself.

Make peace with life.

Make peace with this moment.

Allow the world to be.

Let life unfold without resistance.

No need for evaluating or judging.

It’s all okay
You are okay

There is nothing wrong
You are not doing anything wrong

The world will find its way
And so will you

Life has brought you to this place
Your strong roots are in place

Let life unfold
And your story continue

* Music Inspiration – Om Mani Padme Hum

Om Mani Padme Hum has no direct English translation, but is often said to mean “Hail the jewel in the heart of lotus” or “Behold! The jewel in the lotus!”.

As you site or lie down comfortably, notice how your shoulders relax and the tension begins to melt away. Imagine being gently held in the heart of the lotus.

This is one of my favorites for lying down in Savasana and letting go into the fullness of our being.

Inspiration – Om So Hum Mantra

There is much healing to be done and love to be shared through raising our voices and opening our hearts. We are one.

Om So Hum translates as:

Om = the sound of the universe

So = I am

Hum = that or he

* Mantra for Healing

“Ra Ma Da Sa, Sa Say So Hung” is the mantra for sacred healing. This healing meditation is used to pray for healing energy for our friends, family, and ourselves. If no particular person comes to mind, open your voice and heart to all of humanity and mother earth.

Sit quietly with eyes closed. Sing along with Snatam Kaur and imagine sending healing energy to whoever needs it most today.  I am sending this to my angry monkey.

Ra – Sun

Ma – Moon

Daa – Earth

Saa – Impersonal Infinity

Saa Say – Totality of Infinity

So – Personal sense of merger and identity

Hung – The infinite, vibrating and real.

* Mantra for Today – Simple

tangled thoughts

Some days we tie ourselves up into knots of analysis and thinking.
Going around and around and making a fine mess, rather getting clarity or direction.
This mantra is a helpful reminder for me when I get into a tangle.

“Spirit is simple”

spiriti is simple

Keep coming back to the simple and let go of the complicated.

Keep coming back to your breath and find your middle ground.
