  1. I like the idea of the world spinning around me – but I get to find my own stillness. Lovely haiku!

  3. This popped into my head as I viewed that spider web:

Round, like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel.
    Never ending or beginning,
    On an ever spinning wheel

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it’s face
And the world is like an apple
    Whirling silently in space

Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

    1. Burt Bacharach right? I Love the song … And words seem to have so much more meaning 30 years later.

      1. Not sure who sang it, but agree with you about the depth of meaning. Perhaps movies, books, and song lyrics change as we do.

My name is Val Boyko, a dual citizen living near Philadelphia, originally from Scotland.

This blog came to life one morning in 2013.  I woke up with these words in my mind:  “Life is a series of highs and lows. Be grateful for the highs. Be graceful in the lows. And find contentment in your Middle Ground.”

Find Your Middle Ground blog started to explore, reflect, ask deep questions, share insights about awakening, and connect with wonderful people like yourself. Thank you for being here and being such an inspiration.
