Welcome to the August Community News! Here you will find the latest class schedule and events, and the options for making a donation.

๐ŸŒป August๐ŸŒป in the northern hemisphere is a time of warmth and appreciation of natureโ€™s bounty. The season of late summer calls us to be more mellow and allow the natural shift towards letting go. It is also a time to be grounded and find our inner balance amidst the uncertainty in the world.

The yoga schedule remains the same for August. In-person Gentle Kripalu Yoga  is on August 21st at Radiant Heart, Broomall.  I will be here all month, except for Monday August 11th. Monthly members will receive a recording for that day. Those who sign up for the month will also get a Vimeo showcase of 12 recordings to watch in your own time.

๐Ÿ’Chanticleer ๐Ÿ’ I am working part time at Chanticleer in visitors services. I look forward to seeing some of you there, and will reach out with pop up walks throughout the season! Parking reservations are not required on Wednesdays and Thursday or after 3.00pm on the weekend. Friday requires parking reservations for evening picnics.

๐ŸŽˆPop-Up Yoga ๐ŸŽˆPlease join me on Thursday August 21st at 10.45am. Enjoy Kripalu Gentle Yoga with some hands on goodness. Class starts at 10.45 at Radiant Heart Yoga and Wellness, 2725 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. The suggested donation is $20. Please reserve your spot by paying me directly.

๐ŸŒ€Energy Re-Sets ๐ŸŒ€ This special offering includes seven 8-15 minute videos to play each day of the week, or when you feel stressed, anxious or out of balance. Val guides you in techniques that come from the traditions of Yoga, Qi Gong and Chinese Medicine and are backed by modern science and adapted for everyday life. These are yours to access online or download. Suggested donation is $35.

A gentle class with some challenge for people with yoga experience

WEDNESDAY

12.00noon – 1.00pm EST

Gentle Yoga Hour

Beginners are welcome at this gentle class for every body.

FRIDAY

9.30am – 10.45am EST

Gentle Energy Yoga

A combination of Gentle Yin and Yang yoga with Qi Gong

SUNDAY

10.00am – 11.15am EST

Gentle Yoga

A nourishing yoga class for every body

All regular classes are online via Zoom.

๐ŸŒป LOCAL AUGUST EVENTS ๐ŸŒป

Join me at Radiant Heart, Broomall on August 21st at 10.45 for in person Gentle Kripalu Yoga.

Drop-ins to class are always welcome. Monthly members of the Yoga Community will also have access to all live classes and FREE video recordings.

There is a sliding scale of donations to show your appreciation for practicing together and being in community. Those with lesser means will not be turned away, and others who have more, can share more. This is not a business model, but a model based on generosity of spirit and Middle Ground Principles.

Monthly Community Member – Sliding Scale Donation $60 – $150

Choose your pledge amount based on your means, number of classes you anticipate for the month and your support for the community. As a member you will also receive bonus video recordings to view in your own time.
