Wu Hsin – What Is

Enjoy this timely re-post!

“Too much time is squandered on

What was and

What might be

Leaving only table scraps for

What Is”

~ Wu Hsin  from the Lost Writing of Wu Hsin translated by Roy Melvyn

Table scraps have their uses… yet can’t sustain us.

Pause and take time to Find your Middle Ground.

Embrace the present and take time to nourish your deeper being.

    1. Thanks Karen. I do feel it. This has been such a good time to be a witness to what comes up in my habitual ego mind and then let it go. Connecting with nature and the slow pace suits me fine 💕🌱🌸

      1. It’s definitely a time to witness our old stories and to let them go as we walk into a new future 🥰💕

  2. A very wise quote (and I hope after the virus has left our shores that more people take the time to be in the present moment and spent more quality time with their loved ones).

  4. Discovering the joys of slowing down and living in the moment have been, for me, one of the best things to come out of this pandemic. Most certainly a work in progress, but I’m so grateful for the lesson…thanks Val!

    1. Thanks Lori. 💛 This is the biggest lesson for me as well. I was so busy rushing to help people find peace and quiet, and I forgot about myself and my home life. We teach others what we need the post eh ….. 😉

  7. Yes maybe now more will focus on the Now.. and appreciate what gifts we all already have.. I was listening to a song the other day.. The Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell … ‘You don’t know what you’ve got till its gone!” line stood out..
    Sending well wishes dear Val…
We have been keeping busy on the plot.. 🙂 and finding plenty of scraps to keep us busy 🙂

    1. Thank you dear Sue❣️ I am bit erratic with checking in on WordPress these days. I had problem with my reader and got out of the way of checking in before my day started. Now my day starts as soon as I wake up and I take my time before teaching class on Zoom. Time is more fluid and less structured. I think I’m turning into a hippie 😉 Love, peace and continued wellness to you 🙏

      1. So understand this Val… Likewise, no structure in my day apart from going to the plot to water weed and plant in a morning.. And the rest of the day I take as IS… And my visits to the reader have almost been none existent for a long while… ❤
Much love your way dear Val.. and nothing wrong with being a Hippie…. 🙂 I grew up in the flower power good vibrations!!!! 🙂 LOL… Sending love and Peace right back ❤
