Om Mani Padme Hum has no direct English translation, but is often said to mean “Hail the jewel in the heart of lotus” or “Behold! The jewel in the lotus!”.
As you site or lie down comfortably, notice how your shoulders relax and the tension begins to melt away. Imagine being gently held in the heart of the lotus.
This is one of my favorites for lying down in Savasana and letting go into the fullness of our being.
Realize deeply that this moment is as it is
That you are not fragmented from the universe
You are the universe
Just relax
You are complete
Just rest in the warmth of your awareness
Parijat is known for beautiful relaxation and Reiki music. This is one of my favorites.
Let this piece hold you gently.
Let it soothe the inner tension.
May it allow you to release.
… And let go whatever it is that no longer serves you.

Gary Sadler and Stephanie created true magic in this album. My favorite track to relax and melt into is Sa’Brooke. (Second favorite is Heart Magic)
Turn the volume up and be with this for a few moments. Imagine your heart opening and softening. Let the tension release slowly from your mind and seep through your body.

I love this music from Patrick Kelly, especially for Savasana. It takes us on a journey from relaxing lapping waves and bird calls, to angelic voices and swelling uplifting waves of music.
Can you discover yourself smiling?…
This moment is always here to tap into when we take time to pause and listen inwards.
Music can create the mood and help us shift into this nourishing space of stillness and peace.
I hope you have been enjoyed the Savasana music I have shared over the Holidays.

Every day with my yoga students, I look forward to choosing and playing one of my favorite melodies for Savasana (corpse pose). Now its your turn to relax and enjoyย ๐
Music can create a shift in our mood.
Certain melodies can soothe and inspire.
Music can bring us to a place of stillness and fill our hearts with love and gratitude.
This is what I want to share with you in the coming days.
May this special time of year open our hearts to living with kindness and love for all.

According to Inc Magazine, neuroscientists in the UK conducted a study on the top songs for reducing stress. Participants ย attempted to solve difficult puzzles as quickly as possible while connected to sensors. The puzzles induced a certain level of stress, and participants listened to different songs while researchers measured brain activity as well as physiological states that included heart rate, blood pressure, and rate of breathing.
According to Dr. David Lewis-Hodgson of Mindlab International, which conducted the research, the top song produced a greater state of relaxation than any other music tested to date.
In fact, listening to that one song — “Weightless” — resulted in a striking 65 percent reduction in participants’ overall anxiety, and a 35 percent reduction in their usual physiological resting rates.
