Inspiration – Heart is the Light

open your heart

Your heart is the light of this world. Don’t cover it with your mind.
~ Mooji
How easy it is to get wrapped up in our thoughts, convincing ourselves that we must find the answers through our thinking.
The analytical mind likes to be in charge, and thinks it has all the answers.
When the ego take control in this way, its a powerful adversary, keeping us in denial from seeing the truth.
When you hear this message, know that it is time to shift attention away from the ego mind and come back to your heart.
Your heart will always be the light of this world, despite what your ego mind tells you.
Let your heart show itself with love and connection to others and yourself.

Wide are opinions, narrow is experience when perceived by the mind.
Narrow are opinions, wide and deep is experience when perceived by the Heart.

~ Mooji from White Fire

I love how Mooji’s words open up my heart and mind to reflect on.

I chose the above image by Lisa Fotios because it made me pause…

How does your mind perceive this photo?

Now ask your heart what it sees. 😎

May we let our Hearts be open and embrace life fully.

Have you ever told yourself “I can’t do this! I want to, but I can’t.
I am too stressed, worried, anxious, afraid, distracted, angry, irritated …. and anyway, there isn’t enough time!”

This  is EXACTLY the time you should consider doing it.

Pay attention to your self talk and don’t believe it.
The answer lies beyond the ego mind’s denial.

If you want it, you can make it happen with all you heart and not your head.

* Inspiration – heart and mind

“Remember the emphasis on the heart. The mind lives in doubt and the heart lives in trust. When you trust, suddenly you become centered.” ~ Osho

I recall reading this quote for the first time. I was doubting a choice I made and was unsure about the decision. I was tying myself up in knots trying to figure out if it was the “right” choice or not. I felt uneasy, unsettled and somewhat lost with where I found myself.

When I read Osho’s words the shift from mind thinking to heartfelt intuition was immediate. I was able to let go. In my heart I knew that things would work out… even although my mind couldn’t get around it all.

And so it was.
Looking back, life always seems to work out in its own way.

When we open our hearts, we allow ourselves to open into a new way of being. One of trust and love.
