Yoga

Yoga has been at the core of my spiritual journey. I turned to yoga in 2002, as a way to help me through giving up smoking and to support my path as a life coach. It had a huge impact on my life as well as transforming my body, mind and connection with spirit. I decided to become a teacher and share the benefits of yoga, especially as the body ages.

I studied at East Eagle Yoga for my 200 hour certification, in the lineage of Swami Rama and the Yoga Institute of Mumbai. In 2012 I began my Kripalu Yoga journey with 500 hours advanced teacher training. Since then I become certified in teaching Kripalu Yin Yoga and Kripalu Restorative Yoga. I also attended a course with Dr Timothy McCall on alignment and safe practice for teachers.

Whether you want to discover the benefits of yoga for heathy aging, are seeking a relaxing mindful practice to reduce stress and connect with your Center of Being, or are coming back to yoga, I offer classes and individual sessions tailored to your specific needs. You will find my Zoom schedule on the Yoga Community page.

Healing and Intuitive Coaching

I  believe that we can all transform ourselves and the world around us. It starts with getting to know ourselves more fully. When we learn to appreciate who we truly are, we find compassion for ourselves and others. Helping others is a good place to start, but the real work is ours to do for ourselves. We must find our Middle Ground and follow our soul’s calling.

Over the years, as a yoga teacher and life coach, I have enjoyed guiding and supporting people towards their own inner transformation. During this time I discovered that I also have a gift for healing. When I am connected to the Life Force energy within me, I naturally bring it to others.

I offer my presence, intuitive conversations and mindful practices for those seeking more from their spiritual path. Awakening to our true nature is not an easy road, and its even more difficult if you are doing it on your own and trying to find the right direction.

So many spiritual seekers connect with other seekers, and they enter never ending cycles of trying to find the right practice or person to show them the way. I was like that for many years, until I found that the answer lay within me. Let me help you.

About Me

My name is Val Boyko, a dual citizen living near Philadelphia, originally from Scotland.

This blog came to life one morning in 2013.  I woke up with these words in my mind:  “Life is a series of highs and lows. Be grateful for the highs. Be graceful in the lows. And find contentment in your Middle Ground.”

Find Your Middle Ground blog started to explore, reflect, ask deep questions, share insights about awakening, and connect with wonderful people like yourself. Thank you for being here and being such an inspiration.
