Haiku – Difficulty

May the truth you seek
Rise out of difficulty
Find your Middle Ground

Every experience we have in life is an opportunity to witness. To step back, observe and attend to.

Beneath the discomfort and suffering is something precious that wants to be known.

In times of difficulty, pause and be with whatever comes up. Give it space so you can feel it fully.

As you come to this place full of hard and hurtful edges, let yourself soften.

Open your heart to it, and let compassion melt the negative thinking and resistance.

Find your Middle Ground and the truth and love within.

Haiku – achieve nothing

Nothing to achieve
Except finding love within
Find Your Middle Ground

The love that we yearn for, is already present within us. It may be sparked by certain people, events, or memories, but it is already here.

When we pause and take time to be present, we learn to let go of our conditioning and what we  think we “should” be doing.

We step into being.

In this space, we begin to touch our loving center.

I call it Finding our Middle Ground.

Find Your Middle Ground
~

Find your Middle Ground is about stepping away from stressful days and anxiety driven minds, and taking time to pause.

When we rest in this place,  we are able to let go of judgments and how we wish things should be. We allow ourselves to open up to what is in this moment. And in doing so, connect with our authentic being and life energy. We find contentment no matter what is happening in the highs and lows of life.

I  believe that we can all contribute to world peace. It starts with being kind to ourselves and finding love within ourselves. Helping others is a good place to start, but the real work is ours to do for ourselves. We must find that loving, nourishing and inspiring place I call our Middle Ground.
