Restorative Yoga is like a refuge from life’s stressors. In this special 90 minute class with Val, we use props to support you in gentle seated and floor yoga poses that open, release and allow the body to soften and the mind to let go. Deep relaxation results in lower blood pressure and blood sugar levels. It increases “good cholesterol” levels and improves digestion and insomnia. No yoga experience required.

In this special three week teaching series, we will focus on the key elements to feel strong, safe and confident on your yoga mat. This series will prepare you to take your practice from Gentle Yoga to All Levels. With new confidence and skills, it will open up more choices and bring more yoga into your life!
Each week builds on the one before. The format is interactive and practical, with personal attention to meet your needs. This is not a Vinyasa or Power Yoga class, but one that will support you as an individual to move with ease on your mat, and enjoy a more flowing and strength building practice.
