Find your Middle Ground
Tend to your inner garden
Clearing takes some time
~
Every day I seem to wait for it to a little cooler and drier so I can spend time clearing away the weeds that seem to have sprouted overnight in my garden.
The forecast calls for cooler temperatures and lower humidity over the next few days. I will celebrate by setting aside plenty of time to clear in a purposeful mindful way.
Tending to our outer garden and inner one are very similar. Are you putting off time to find the right moment for meditating, reading inspiring words or attending a yoga class? Are you being sidetracked with the weeds of drama and social media?
The busyness of life and the weather can get in the way.
Remember we have control over one of them.
Tend to your inner garden and set aside time to Find Your Middle Ground.
Thank you for being inspiring, Val 🙂
I like your comparing here.
Enjoy your garden. Here we have had up to 47 C. in the last days and it continues for a while yet.

Thank you Irene for your kind words! I hope the weather has become much cooler for you. Thats a lot to handle without air conditioning ❄️

Thank you Val. Today it is not quite so warm, only 34 C. which I enjoy much. The coming days will be mixed. I have a ventilator to the most warm days, which helps a little 🙂

My weeds have flowers too…and wild animals…and even the occasional call from out of its wilderness 😀
But ok, I’m still tripping over the overgrowth, I suppose a balance must be found 😀

Good advice. I will make time. I’m feeling scattered. Focus. That should calm the flood of ideas.

Val, I love the link between inner and outer garden. So very true…as I contemplate some Autumn projects. I wonder what awaits. 🙏🏻

So understand the humidity problem Val having just finished so much decorating the last few weeks, Last week the bathroom and kitchen we completed and sweat dripped off us..
The Garden plot we managed to do early in the mornings before the heat got too great..
Sometimes we all put off what needs tending, but the rewards of the effort once you dig in are worth it both inner and outer 😀
And I too have loved the time set aside for my Inner Garden… I try to tend that daily 🙂
LOVE and well wishes Val..
Enjoy your weekend and your outer garden!!..Your Inner is well tended my friend ❤ ❤

Ahh thank you dear friend! I’ve tackled the front garden and am now about to start on the back. Friends coming over on Sunday is a great incentive for clearing. Sometimes we must embrace the external to ignite the internal too.
Have a lovely weekend 💕

I love the juxtaposition of the outer and inner garden…it’s easier to see the weeds in the outer garden, although the weeds in the inner garden have a way of prickling me to feel them…Thanks!
