“May you recognize in your life the presence, power, and light of your soul.
May you realize that you are never alone, that your soul in its brightness and belonging connects you intimately with the rhythm of the universe.
May you have respect for your own individuality and difference.
May you realize that the shape of your soul is unique, that you have a special destiny here,
that behind the facade of your life there is something beautiful, good, and eternal happening.
May you learn to see yourself with the same delight, pride, and expectation with which God sees you in every moment.” *

  5. Yes, separateness is an illusion and our connection to everything is reality. How words fail completely to convey the incomprehensible.
John has done well here and so have you. Thank you!

  11. If anyone hasn’t read John’s book then don’t put it off any longer. Anam Cara is a very beautiful book. Anam Cara means in the old Celtic language Soul Friend. When we moved to our home here in Oregon the land ‘spoke’ to us to the extent that we named our property Anam Cara much to the amusement of our neighbours. For Americans don’t seem to name properties in the way that we Brits do so far as country properties are concerned.
